About Renewable Energy Systems
Renewable Energy Systems (RES) is an Anchorage-based solar and renewable energy company serving customers across Alaska, with additional store locations in Fairbanks and the Mat-Su Valley. The company offers grid-tie solar and off-grid solar installations, geothermal energy systems, automatic backup power, wind turbines, and a full line of generators. RES carries solar panels from multiple manufacturers, including 440W and 495W SEG panels and 395W Canadian Solar modules, along with batteries, inverters, chargers, controllers, racking systems, and solar options for RV and marine use. The company is an authorized Alaska dealer for EcoFlow DELTA Pro portable power stations, marketed for backup power in Alaska's climate. RES holds NABCEP certification and operates as a journeyman electrical contractor, offering in-house electrical services alongside system design and installation. Financing options are available, and the company provides information on commercial tax credits. Free quotes can be requested by phone, text, or online through each of the three regional locations. RES emphasizes Alaska-specific context in its messaging, noting that power costs in the state run roughly twice the national average in urban areas and significantly higher in remote communities.
