Renewable Energy Systems

About Renewable Energy Systems

Renewable Energy Systems (RES) is a solar installation company serving Alaska with locations in Fairbanks, Anchorage, and the Mat-Su Valley. The Fairbanks office can be reached at (907) 458-8000. RES handles both grid-tie and off-grid solar installations, covering design and installation in-house. Their team includes NABCEP-certified installers and a journeyman electrician on staff. Beyond solar, RES offers a broad range of renewable energy products and services: battery storage systems, wind turbines, geothermal energy, RV and marine solar, generators, inverters, charge controllers, racking and mounting hardware, and water pumps. They are an authorized Alaska dealer for EcoFlow DELTA Pro portable power stations, which they position as backup power solutions. The company also participates in the FNSB Wood Stove Change Out program and provides automatic backup power systems. RES offers free quotes and financing options, including information on commercial tax credits. Their product lineup includes panels from SEG (440W and 495W models) and Canadian Solar (395W). The company markets directly to Alaska residents and businesses, citing the state's electricity costs — roughly twice the national average in cities and significantly higher in remote villages — as a driver for solar adoption. Free quotes are available by phone, text, or through their website.
