About Oceanic Home Solar

Oceanic Home Solar is a family-run solar installer based in Waipahu, Hawaii, serving homeowners on Oahu and Maui since 2007. The company handles residential solar projects in-house with local crews familiar with Hawaii's roofing conditions, permitting requirements, and utility rules. Core services include full rooftop photovoltaic system design and installation, Tesla Powerwall battery backup, solar water heating, and repair and maintenance of solar and solar hot water systems — including systems installed by other contractors. On the battery side, Oceanic installs Tesla Powerwalls to help homeowners store daytime solar production for evening use, a strategy the company highlights given HECO's current low export credit rates. Battery installations may qualify for BYOD Plus incentives of up to $4,000 per unit, along with state and federal tax credits. Solar panel installations are also tax-credit eligible, and $0 down financing options are available. On Oahu, the company serves communities including Honolulu, Pearl City, Kapolei, and Mililani; on Maui, coverage includes Kahului, Wailuku, Kihei, and Lahaina. For homes that need roof work prior to solar installation, Oceanic partners with True Home Roofing Hawaii and can package both services together. The office is reachable by phone at (808) 900-3750, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
