Westhaven Power
About Westhaven Power
Westhaven Power is a locally operated solar company based in Yuba City, California, focused on helping homeowners reduce their reliance on the utility grid. The company handles every aspect of a solar project in-house — design, installation, and ongoing service — with no outsourcing to third parties. Their flagship offering is the proprietary PowerGuard performance and protection plan, which includes around-the-clock system monitoring with proactive alerts, a guaranteed production promise where the company pays the difference if the system underperforms, and service performed by the same local team that built the installation. Westhaven Power also provides solar service and maintenance for systems installed by other companies, not only their own. The company positions itself explicitly against large national solar brokers and high-pressure sales operations, emphasizing local accountability and accurate system design as differentiators. A free Solar Buyers Guidebook is available for homeowners evaluating their options. Licensed under California contractor license number 965111, Westhaven Power aims to design systems capable of what they call grid liberation — reducing a homeowner's dependence on utility power to the point where grid connection becomes largely optional.
