Virginia Energy Solutions
About Virginia Energy Solutions
Virginia Energy Solutions is a locally owned solar company based in Chesterfield, Virginia, serving customers throughout the state. The company offers residential solar installation, covering design, permitting, installation, and utility interconnection, and continues to support systems after installation is complete. Panel cleaning and maintenance are available starting at $20 per panel for a one-time visit, or through monthly Complete Care plans beginning at $38 per month. The company also provides service and repair work, including on systems it did not originally install, and performs orphaned system audits for homeowners whose original solar installer is no longer available for support. Additional services include roofing, generator installation, energy efficiency consulting, and tree removal, each coordinated through vetted partners as part of a broader home upgrade. The company sizes solar systems to match customers' actual electricity usage and states it will advise customers when solar does not make financial sense for their specific home. Virginia Energy Solutions holds a 4.9-star rating based on 106 Google reviews across two locations. Founder and CEO Ian Marston started the company to serve homeowners who had been sold solar systems by installers that later became unresponsive.
