Solar Pro
About Solar Pro
Solar Pro is a solar installation company serving homeowners and businesses in the Black Hills region of South Dakota, based in Rapid City. The company installs residential and commercial solar systems and offers battery storage solutions designed to keep essential systems running during power outages—including heat, water, lighting, Wi-Fi, security, refrigeration, and critical medical equipment. For residential rooftop installations, Solar Pro uses black solar modules chosen for aesthetics and winter snow melt performance. Ground-mount systems use bifacial modules. Partner brands include Tesla solar panels, Sol-Ark and EG4 Electronics inverters, Discover Battery storage, IronRidge racking, and Sinclair Designs engineering. Installed systems are monitored through a mobile app that shows real-time power production from connected panels. Solar Pro also offers Starlink satellite internet service as an add-on. The company provides no-obligation quotes for both homeowners and business owners and cites western South Dakota's average of 275 sunny days per year as a key advantage for solar production in the region.
