Smooth Solar Power
About Smooth Solar Power
Smooth Solar Power is a Dallas, Texas-based solar energy company that connects homeowners with local solar installers. Operating as a sales and marketing company, Smooth Solar facilitates the relationship between customers and installation professionals rather than performing installations directly. The company offers a streamlined three-step process and promotes financing options with no upfront costs for qualifying homeowners who obtain third-party approved financing. Smooth Solar highlights several benefits for customers, including reduced utility bills — with some customers reportedly cutting their summer air conditioning bills in half — increased home value, and energy independence through a monitoring app that tracks both power consumption and any excess power sold back to the utility. The company states it is available in most states across the U.S. and reports over $100,000 in energy savings delivered to customers. Smooth Solar is a designated Illinois Shines Approved Vendor through Freedom Forever, and the company's website displays a Better Business Bureau logo. Net metering availability depends on the customer's utility provider. Homeowners interested in going solar can request a free quote through the company's website.
