Power Shift Solar
About Power Shift Solar
Power Shift Solar is a locally-owned Utah business based in Salt Lake City that sells, installs, and services residential solar PV systems and home battery backup solutions. The company specifically addresses a common challenge: providing repair and service continuity for homeowners whose original solar installation company has gone out of business. Power Shift Solar is experienced in servicing and repairing systems originally installed by other contractors, bringing underperforming systems back to peak output. Their services include new solar panel sales and installation, testing and diagnostics, repairs, panel replacement, battery backup system sales and installation, annual servicing programs, warranty claims processing, and emergency response. The company emphasizes that service contracts are not required for service calls, and they offer a 25-year warranty on solar panels. A typical service call inspects the full solar PV system from panels through wiring, inverters, and power junction to identify problems before they escalate into larger repair costs. Power Shift Solar handles permitting and installation so homeowners do not need to manage those steps themselves. The company stresses the importance of using licensed professionals for solar repairs, citing serious safety risks associated with non-licensed attempts to repair solar electric panels, inverters, or other system components.
