About Independent Solar

Independent Solar is a commercial solar company based in Phoenix, Arizona that serves businesses and operates a dealer and sales representative partner network. The company focuses on commercial solar installations for a range of property types, including retail centers, hotels, schools, office buildings, homeowners associations, churches, warehouses, and light industrial facilities. Services include commercial solar system design and installation, battery storage, utility bill and interval-data analysis, project management, and post-installation monitoring and maintenance. The company's process involves reviewing at least 12 months of utility usage and demand data, assessing roof and electrical conditions, and designing systems around each facility's operating patterns, load priorities, and financial goals. Battery storage recommendations are based on interval data, outage risk, equipment loads such as refrigeration or medical systems, and peak demand management needs. Independent Solar also supports its dealer network with proposal development assistance and client communication resources. The company references federal clean energy investment tax credit eligibility for projects placed in service after December 31, 2024, noting that credit levels depend on meeting prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements.
