Ilumen Solar
About Ilumen Solar
Ilumen Solar, located in Lake Barrington, Illinois, provides solar installation and related services with an emphasis on high-quality, aesthetically considered installations. The company offers residential and commercial solar installations, as well as solar repair for existing systems. Beyond new installs, Ilumen Solar provides a range of add-on and ongoing services including battery backup, critter guards, electrical upgrades, EV charging installation, solar and roofing services, and inverter monitoring and management. The company also sells portable solar generator kits in two configurations — a Prepper Kit and a Power Kit — for customers seeking off-grid or emergency backup power. Ilumen Solar handles SREC management and consulting, which can be valuable to Illinois customers navigating state solar incentive programs or those who need support after their original installer is no longer available. Customer reviews on the website highlight the company's responsiveness on inverter replacements, panel warranty work, and SREC application assistance for customers left without support by prior contractors.
