Crisp Renewables

About Crisp Renewables

Crisp Renewables is a solar services provider in Raleigh, North Carolina, operating within Duke Energy territory. The company uses satellite technology to generate personalized solar assessments for homeowners, including a roof scan measuring usable square footage and annual sun hours, a 3D model of the home with panel placement drawn to scale, a sunlight heatmap identifying the best-performing roof sections, and a 25-year savings estimate based on the homeowner's actual utility bill. Crisp Renewables also checks whether a homeowner's address qualifies for Duke Energy's PowerPair solar-plus-battery rebate program, which can provide up to $9,000 in incentives — $3,600 toward panels and $5,400 toward a battery — alongside the federal tax credit. All seven assessment deliverables are offered at no charge before any in-person visit. Homeowners who want to proceed can schedule a free 15-minute video call with a solar expert who reviews panel layout and financing options using the homeowner's actual Duke bill. Crisp Renewables operates in partnership with Renu Energy Solutions, which the site identifies as the Carolinas' solar and battery installer since 2010, holding an A+ BBB rating, NABCEP certification, and Tesla Powerwall 3 Certified Installer status, with more than 7,500 Carolina homes powered.
