Crest Solar LLC

About Crest Solar LLC

Crest Solar LLC is a locally owned and operated solar installation company based in Keeseville, New York, in business since 2004. The company designs and installs residential and small commercial photovoltaic solar systems for both grid-tied and off-grid applications. Rather than offering standardized packages, Crest Solar tailors each system to the specific needs of the site. For grid-tied customers, the company sizes systems based on annual kilowatt-hour usage and installs either roof mounts or pole mounts depending on shading conditions and panel count. Available incentives include a New York State tax credit of 25% of system cost up to $5,000 for residential installations, along with NYSERDA incentives, a federal tax credit, and accelerated 5-year MACRS depreciation for commercial projects. Off-grid system design is also offered, ranging from minimal setups for hunting camps to full-sized homes. The company's principals have personal experience living off the grid since 1978 and generating solar electricity since 2002. The lead system designer is NABCEP certified and NYSERDA eligible with over 20 years of experience. Crest Solar operates Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The company can be reached at 518-578-1487 or at [email protected].
