Clean Earth Renewables

About Clean Earth Renewables

Clean Earth Renewables is a Chicago-based renewable energy company that offers six distinct clean energy pathways for residential, commercial, enterprise, landowner, nonprofit, and public facility customers. Their as-a-service model requires no upfront investment and covers development, installation, and ongoing maintenance. For landowners, they develop solar farms that generate guaranteed lease revenue of $2,500 or more per acre annually under 25-year agreements. Homeowners and renters can access community solar subscriptions that reduce electricity bills by 10 to 20 percent without any rooftop installation. Small and medium businesses can cut operating costs through solar subscriptions or generate property revenue by hosting solar. Large enterprises benefit from investment-grade solar subscriptions and ESG compliance support across multiple sites. Nonprofits and public facilities can reduce utility expenses while meeting sustainability goals. Their six solution types include Solar Hosting, Community Solar, Storage Hosting, behind-the-meter Solar, BTM Storage, and Virtual Power Purchase Agreements. Since launch, the company has activated more than 100 million kilowatt-hours of clean energy, helping enrolled subscribers avoid over 88,000 metric tons of CO2. Clean Earth Renewables has been featured in Crain's Chicago Business and Chicago Innovation, and serves clients including Silgan Closures, Hilton, and Domino's.
