Broker Solar
About Broker Solar
Broker Solar is a solar asset management company based in Lexington, South Carolina, serving residential and commercial customers across South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. The company specializes in post-installation services rather than new system sales, positioning itself as a long-term support partner for solar system owners. A notable focus is orphaned solar support — helping customers whose original installer has gone out of business by providing technical diagnostics and handling warranty paperwork on their behalf. Services include solar panel removal and replacement, solar panel cleaning, system repairs and troubleshooting, and system upgrades. Broker Solar also integrates battery storage solutions to help customers manage utility time-of-use rate structures, and offers combined HVAC and solar services alongside EV charging installation. The company's website provides educational resources on solar panels, battery storage, solar farms, financing, and federal tax credits. Broker Solar describes itself as South Carolina's solar asset specialists, with an emphasis on repair, recovery, and return on investment for existing system owners rather than new installations. Customers experiencing underperforming systems, high electricity bills despite having solar, or systems left unsupported after a contractor closure are the primary audience the company targets.
