About Alder Energy Development
Alder Energy Development is a Charleston, South Carolina-based solar integrator that has been delivering turnkey alternative energy solutions since 2008. The company focuses on community, industrial, and commercial applications through two primary service lines: community solar farms, which generate electricity shared by multiple households and businesses who participate in the program for lower electricity costs, and rooftop leasing, which allows commercial building owners to host a community solar project on their rooftop and earn passive income. Alder Energy manages projects from development through completion and has built a portfolio of installations across South Carolina, including commercial rooftop systems for Draexlmaier Automotive of America in Duncan, Tanger Outlets in North Charleston, the Heuser Ace Hardware in Bluffton, Champion Aerospace in Liberty, and municipal projects for the Town of James Island. The company's client list includes organizations such as Santee Cooper, Johnson Controls, and the cities of Greenville and Beaufort, reflecting experience across both private sector and government projects. Alder Energy's stated focus is on helping clients achieve sustainability goals through resilient, cost-saving solar solutions.
